Principal and Founder of Rothrock & Associates, Virginia L. Rothrock, began her career as a representative for an international insurance and financial firm in 1978. ”Ginny”, as her friends call her, was awarded and promoted numerous times during her tenure with that firm and retired after 28 years of service. Prior to her financial services career, she graduated from the Jewish Hospital School of Nursing in Cincinnati, Ohio and attended the University of Kentucky in Lexington. After graduating, she enjoyed many years as a Registered Nurse and Childbirth educator first in Michigan and then later, Miami.
Her love of Florida and background in the insurance industry prompted the start of Rothrock & Associates Financial, Inc. in 2003. The agency has shown steady growth from zero clients and a two year “non-compete clause”, to its current several thousand valued clients after twelve years of successful service.
Ginny is married to Bill, and together they have five children, and ten adorable grandchildren. Ginny always says, “If I had known how much fun grandchildren were, I would have had them first”. Her hobbies include fishing, scuba diving, traveling, and caring for the little ones in her church nursery.

Susan was born in Pasadena, Maryland and moved to Orlando in Florida at the age of 12 with her family. She had a 16 year career in the banking business as a teller and during that time worked her way up to branch manager. Susan started working and using her extensive customer service skills for Virginia Rothrock when she opened Rothrock & Associates in July of 2004. At the present time she holds the position of Office Manager/ Account executive. In her spare time Susan enjoys reading and spending time with her family in Boynton Beach.
Born and raised in Florida, Donleen continues to reside in nearby Boynton. She has been a bookkeeper for fifteen years and joined our company in 2008. She is currently the Executive Assistant for the owner/president of Rothrock & Associates. Recently Donleen successfully completed her Associates degree in Accounting from the University of Phoenix. She continues to be very dedicated to not only the needs of the agency but also to the many needs of the clients. In her spare time she enjoys reading, being with her husband, two children and friends.
Originally from upstate NY, Gail has lived in South Florida for 38 years. Gail’s career path includes a decade spent at Motorola followed by ten years at home raising a family. She returned to the work force with Gateway computers followed by several years managing a pediatric doctor’s office. Her eight years at Rothrock & Associates have provided her with many wonderful client relationships and she hopes to add you and your friends to that group!
When Gail is not being a very talented professional insurance agent she enjoys traveling, reading, going to the beach, spending time with her family, and serving in the Children’s ministry at her church.
As a true native Floridian, born and raised, Mary’s unique claim to fame is that she was part of the very first set of twins born at Doctor’s Hospital in Coral Gables, FL.
Prior to joining the staff at Rothrock & Associates in 2008, Mary supervised the Medical billing department at Surgical Associates of Boca Raton, managed the Cellular Sales in Fleming Island, FL and then operated her own Budget Car & Truck Rental agency in St. Augustine. Her hobbies include cooking, travel, outdoor activities where she can enjoy nature, and spending time with her family. With many years of experience in customer service with a variety of sales industry, Mary is considered a people person and enjoys assisting with the insurance needs of her clients and their family and friends.
Later, in the midst of raising four children, she successfully earned her AA degree from Miami Dade College.
Sean was born in Texas, but moved to Florida when he was just 4 years old. He has lived in the South Florida area for the last 20 years, and currently resides in Wellington with his wife, 4 year old son and 1 year old daughter. Sean had an 8 year career in banking as a Financial Service Representative and an Assistant Manager before making the change to becoming an insurance agent in 2013. Sean’s many years in customer service, and his love for people, make him an excellent resource in the insurance industry.
In his free time, Sean is an avid golfer, fisherman and sports enthusiast. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and serving in his church.
Chelsea was born into a military family in San Antonio, TX. Her father’s military service took them to many locations including Germany before settling in at Boynton Beach, FL. Chelsea’s initial career choice and formal training was in the medical field; however, after some time, Virginia Rothrock met and recruited Chelsea for an agent’s assistant position in her firm. Virginia recognized that Chelsea’s professionalism and caring disposition would be a great “fit” for Rothrock & Associates. Chelsea decided to make a change for the better and looks forward to meeting and helping our client’s insurance needs.
Chelsea feels that spending time with family and friends is most important in her life. She enjoys curling up on the couch with her miniature Schnauzer “Jade” and watching her favorite TV programs.
Ashley was born and raised in South Florida. In Ashley’s spare time she likes to spend it with her family, friends and boyfriend. She enjoys taking scenic photos, going to concerts, playing video games and visiting different states. Ashley is Gail’s assistant and she is delighted to help their clients with any concerns or questions. Ashley is grateful for having the experience to work with wonderful people every day at Rothrock & Associates.
Gabriela was born in Constanta, Romania, and in 1989 as a young child moved to Florida with her family. Gabriela decided to broaden her horizons as a clerk in a law office, so she was given the opportunity to start a career with Rothrock & Associates in 2011, as an agent’s professional assistant. In 2013, due to family circumstances, she left the state of Florida and moved to Casper, Wyoming. While in Wyoming, she was employed by Wyoming Machinery Company (Caterpillar), as their lead Sales Analyst. Now back home, Gabriela’s knowledge, talent for multi-tasking and communication allows her to continue her bright future with us at Rothrock & Associates.
